International Junior Golf Tour October 4th-5th, 2008 Spectators at last weekend's International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) event held at Tradition National Golf Club witnessed a dramatic finish to the Girls 15-19 division. Junior Players Golf Academy student Courtney Boe from Hilton Head Island, SC carded a 3-under par, 69 on the first day, entering the second round with a two shot lead. A second round, 76, (145 total) found Boe in a playoff with Kelly Miller. On the first playoff hole, Boe showed great maturity by holing a seven-foot putt for par and claiming her first major tournament win. Boe, 17, is a student who attends the only full-time academy on Hilton Head Island. During her acceptance speech, she paid thanks to her coaches and parents who have helped her achieve this great victory.  IJGT at Oyster Reef
International Junior Golf Tour
Courtney Boe from Hilton Head Island, SC had the low round on Sunday 72 to claim her 2nd Victory in the last two events played on the International Junior Golf Tour. A student at the Junior Players Golf Academy fired an opening round 75 on Saturday at Oyster Reef Golf Club on Hilton Head Island, SC going into the final round one shot back from Stephanie Meadow from Antrim, Ireland.Hilton Head Island, SC October 18th-19th, 2008 "I just wanted to put two good rounds together and hope for first" Boe said.
