The JPGA accepts students 12 years and older for the Golf/Academic Program. The Hilton Head Preparatory School (HHP) has partnered with the JPGA to accept students that qualify for entrance into their institution. Accredited by the National Association of Independent Schools and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, HHP puts academics first and provides a quality learning environment for all its students.

Beaufort County Educational Resource Guide defines HHP as “Academic excellence with stimulating coursework presented by superior faculty in a safe learning environment.”

The Resource Guide also describes HHP as one of Beaufort County’s premier educational institutions, and points out that 100 percent of Hilton Head Prep’s 450 students are accepted into the country's leading colleges and universities.

For entrance into HHP, the students must demonstrate academic ability and motivation, intellectual curiosity, and good citizenship. In making its decision, the HHP Admissions Committee considers a student's past school record, recommendations from teachers and other adults, and the results of admissions testing.

HHP views the admission process as an opportunity to get to know the student as a family, and to introduce the student to other students and faculty. Call the Admissions Office at 843-671-2286 extension 315 to arrange for a visit or view HHP online hhprep.org.
