JPGA Students wins at HJGT Jekyll Island Junior Challenge At Indian Mounds Golf Club

JPGA students win both older divisions in this past weekends HJGT Jekyll Island Junior Challenge, Indian Mounds GC.

Rain and Wind was the weekends theme, conditions were extremely tough both Saturday and Sunday with winds gusting close to 40 mph at times. Jeremy Sisson Won the Boys 16-18 division on the 1st playoff hole beating fellow JPGA student Ty Sullivan. This is Jeremy’s fifth win of the HJGT 2017 season. Coming in T-3rd were Brady Futterer and Andrew Choi. Other Notable JPGA top 10 results; 5th place Arthur Draijer with the tied low round of the final day 73, 6th Alan Smith, 7th Mikus Ming and 8th Aidan McCloskey.

In the Girls 14-18 Division Savannah Hylton won by 5 shots over Katharina Hesse of the JPGA. Savannah made a total of 6 birdies for the weekend.

In the Girls 12-13 division Jacklyn Tang finished in second place for her second straight trophy.
